A CLOSER LOOK

A few examples. Not a fixed menu.

Here’s what a project could look like. Your starting point may be different.

01

Stock and replenishment support

Put low-stock items and proposed reorders in front of the right person.

Explore this example

Connect reliable sales, stock and lead-time data. Start with rules and exception alerts; evaluate forecasting only when the history and inventory accuracy support it.

02

Supplier and catalogue administration

Reduce rekeying from supplier lists, invoices and product sheets.

Explore this example

Extract product details, check pack sizes and flag price changes. Buyers approve updates before they affect the catalogue or purchasing.

03

Ordering and customer care

Help customers with product questions, order status and substitutions.

Explore this example

Use live system records for prices and availability. Authenticate order enquiries and request approval for substitutions; never invent stock or confirm an order the system has not accepted.

ONE POSSIBLE STARTING POINT

Start with supplier-file checks.

Choose one supplier and one product category. Compare incoming records with your catalogue and route changes for approval.

Agree the result before the build.

Rekeying time, catalogue errors caught and approval turnaround.

We assess the process, build the connections and add AI where it helps. Scope, costs and support are agreed before delivery.

How we work
STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Before you start.

What to expect from ai for retail and grocery.

Can AI reduce stock-outs?

It can support alerts and replenishment decisions when stock, sales and supplier data are reliable. We measure the result against your current process rather than promise a stock-out reduction.

Do we need a new POS?

Not necessarily. We first assess the integrations and built-in capabilities of your current POS and inventory systems.

Can a customer order through an AI assistant?

A connected assistant can prepare an order and request confirmation. Prices, availability, payment and final acceptance must come from the actual ordering system.

Is this everything z80 can help with?

No. These are starting points, not a fixed service menu. Tell us what you want to improve or build, even if it is not listed here. We can explore one workflow, several departments or a custom platform, and agree what is feasible around your systems and priorities.
